Carolyn Busenlener’s studio is tucked away in the woods between a bayou and a pond, allowing the artist the tranquility to become completely involved in her art.
The artist’s oil paintings are often about the manipulation of the paint to create texture and contrast. Paintings are images of fish, trees, irises and bayou grasses. More abstract works are images of parts of building structures or figures.
Carolyn’s art has been displayed in numerous juried shows around United States. In the next six months the artist will have her work on display at the Poydras Home Art Show and at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans.
